Mental Typing Using fNIRS based brain Signals

In this research brain signals will be used to convert thoughts into activity. Specifically mental typing is prior task of this research for which fNIRS based brain signal will be acquired. Machine learning techniques will be used to trained the predictive model.

Flight Control of Quadcopter using Reinforcement Learning Techniques

I have been working on this research project recently. This research work includes the study of Deterministic Policy Gradient Algorithms for flight control of quadcopter. OpenAI Gym and Gazebo is used for simulation purposes. Performance of DDPG and D4PG techniques will be evaluated for quadcopter attitude control.

Reinforcement Learning for Autonomous Obstacle Avoidance Mobile Robot

This project includes the study of true online SARSA for obstacle avoidance of mobile robot. Q-biased softmax action selection approach is used instead of Q value. Also, a comparative analysis of different approaches for the Q-biased function calculation is performed for optimized cumulative reward generation.

Hybrid Surgical Robotic Platform

​

Hybrid Surgical Robotic (HSR) platform is serial-parallel mechanism based surgical robot. It consist of Stewart-Platform with 2-link manipulator. Kinematic and Dynamic model of HSR is developed and simulated. HSR can be used in multiple surgeries.
